For the Final Project, you will assume the role of a childcare or primary teacher. Select an age group, between birth and eight years old, and create a presentation for the families of your students. In your presentation, you will address the following:

Provide three examples illustrating how your classroom environment will support the developmental needs of your selected age group.
Explain your curriculum planning process. How do you ensure your curriculum is supporting the developmental needs of your students?
Identify the stages of development that are unique to your selected age group. Explain how developmental delays could impact the learning needs of a student. How would you modify your classroom environment or curriculum to accommodate a student with delays? Provide at least three examples.
You will use the web-based presentation tool Prezi to create a presentation for the families of your students. Your presentation should provide an overview of your classroom environment and curriculum, and it should address the points outlined above. Your Final Project:

Must be a minimum of ten slides.
Must include photographs, illustrations, graphics, and/or video examples.
Must use at least two to three scholarly sources in addition to the textbook.
Must document all sources in APA style.
Must include a separate reference slide, formatted according to APA style, as outlined in the Ashford Writing Center.

We must ensure that our classrooms help to stimulate the physical, cognitive, and affective development for all students. For this assignment, you will bring together your knowledge of theories, developmental domains, and learning environments to design a learning environment. The steps for the assignment are: 
Step 1: Create your learning environment 

a.         Choose an age group (birth to age 2, ages 2 to 5, or ages 6 to 8) to design a learning environment for.

b.        Go to the Classroom Architect website.You will use this website to design the layout for the learning environment. When designing your layout, consider how the design you have created will support the developmental needs of your students based on the age group you chose.

c.         After creating your learning environment, take a screenshot of your design. Then, copy and paste your screenshot into a Word document. If you need help taking a screenshot, please view this tutorial.

Step 2: Written support for your learning environment design

a.         Introduction (one paragraph) 

o    Describe the learning environment that you have designed including the setting of your learning environment (school, home daycare, center, etc.) along with the age of children with whom you will be working.

b.        Physical Domain 

o    Explain how your learning environment design supports the physical development of the children with whom you are working. 

o    Include at least two specific examples from your design.

c.         Cognitive Domain 

o    Explain how your learning environment design supports the cognitive development of the children with whom you are working.  

o    Include at least two specific examples from your design.

d.        Affective Domain 

o    Explain how your learning environment design supports the cognitive development of the children with whom you are working. 

o    Include at least two specific examples from your design.

e.         Developmental Theories 

o    Discuss which of the developmental theories discussed this week are represented in the learning environment you created. 

o    Include at least two specific examples from your design. 

f.          Conclusion (one paragraph) 

o    Summarize the main points of your learning environment design and how it will support the developmental needs of your students.

Step 3: Assignment Submission

a.         Submit your assignment as a two to three page Word document, not including the title and reference page. 

o    Your document should include a screenshot of your classroom along with the written support for your classroom design (answering all questions from Step 2 above). 

b.        Along with the textbook, you will need to include at least two additional scholarly sources. 

o    Be sure to mention your sources in the paper as well as including them on a reference page.

The purpose of this assignment is to assist you in refining problem-solving capabilities that organizations already possess for use in business ethics applications. This paper uses a structured, objective format sometimes called a system of inquiry. This assignment is a systematic formalized inquiry into, or examination of, the code of ethics of an organization and its effects to achieve a specific level of ethical behavior in employees, management, and executives. Each business should have a framework for ensuring ethical behavior. The structure, format, and scope of codes vary depending on the company’s business. An oil company’s code, for example, would probably have different criteria and emphases than a health care provider’s code of ethics. Sometimes, codes of ethics are called by other names, such as an employee code of conduct. A code of ethics, though, should be differentiated from standard good operating practices.

Evaluation and analysis includes problem solving and behavior in assessing organizational ethics along with decision-making processes. In this case, you are evaluating your own company’s code of ethics, or that of another company if your employer does not have a code of ethics.

Write a 1,200-word paper, one not using question-and-answer format, discussing your organization’s code of ethics in detail. Perform the following steps:

• Obtain a copy of your employer’s code of ethics or find an example on the Internet from a major corporation, such as Shell Oil Company’s Statement of Ethics. This is the document upon which to base your inquiry.
• Write a general information paragraph on the company, including its mission statement.
• Determine the type of ethical system used by the firm and reasons or examples upon which you based your decisions. Ethical systems include ends-driven, relativistic, entitlement, and duty-driven (legal or religious) ethics.
• Identify and discuss how the code of ethics is used. Include several paragraphs on each use: one for employees, one for management, one for the board of directors, and so forth. Some of this information comes from the company’s code of ethics. Others may be available through an Internet search. Consider the following:
  • Why it is used—the general or special circumstances
  • How it is used
  • When it is used

Note. You may not be able to find all the information. In that case, state this fact and indicate which sources were examined with no results.

• Why might the organization need to modify their existing code of ethics? Consider how you might modify the code if you were the new CEO and how you would implement the changes.
• What possible reactions to the code are to be expected from employees and managers? What effects does the organizational culture have on the acceptance of the code?
• What is the effect of the code on the organization?
• Summarize the results of your systematic analysis or inquiry into the code of ethics of this organization.

Format your paper consistent with APA guidelines.

• Prepare an introduction and use section headings identifying each of the steps with information and discussion following. Summarize your findings in the conclusion.
• Do not include paragraphs directly from your company’s code. Summarize what is contained in the document. Your paper may contain no more than 15% unoriginal or quoted material.
