Describe the impacts of Dietary Evaluation

Dietary Evaluation (Due: Date will be announced) Without changing your diet, keep a food diary for at least two days making sure to record everything you eat or drink on those two days. If possible, select one weekday and one weekend day. The nutrient analysis is the view where you can see your personal amount/percentage of nutrients (calories, protein, sodium, saturated fat, calcium, etc.) you have consumed for each day next to the recommended amounts (DRIs). Analyze your two-day intake and obtain printouts of the results using one of the following tools: USDA Super Tracker: (https://www.supertracker.usda.gov/default.aspx (Links to an external site.)Links to an external site.) Accessed 1/4/2016 MyFitnessPal: Free online calorie counter and diet plan. Provides nutrient analysis. Check the website prior to keeping your food diary as they have a useful phone app! (https://www.myfitnesspal.com/ (Links to an external site.)Links to an external site. ) My Food Record: Record what you eat. (https://www.myfoodrecord.com/ (Links to an external site.)Links to an external site. ) Discuss the results obtained above in a one page response paper. Compare your intake to current dietary recommendations and guidelines. Your grade will NOT be based on the quality of your diet, but on the quality of your critical analysis, evaluation, and discussion of the results. This nutrient analysis will help with writing the reflection paper by seeing areas where you are currently doing well and areas where you need to improve. For this assignment, submit: A dietary record for each day (2 days total) a log of everything that was consume (food and beverages). Two PDF/screenshots of the nutrient analysis (1 for each day) A one page reflection of your dietary intake compared to the recommendations.
