A is a Nurse Manager in the NJ hospital.  She was a floor manager in the medical surgical unit when this author first had a career as a registered nurse (RN) in the United Status. She was recently promoted to director of nursing. This interview was conducted by phone in Friday afternoon when her busy weekly schedule was over. In order to get her insight, 5 interview questions were sent in advance. The purpose of this paper is to understand how she motivates people and develops herself to be a true nurse leader.
