Spend time during the week monitoring the print media (e.g., newspapers) and electronic media (e.g., radio, television) for advertising promoting healthcare products.  Then assess the ads in terms of the following ***“headings”:

•Image versus service marketing

•The product being marketed (e.g., good, service, idea, organization)

•The medium being used (e.g., newspaper, magazine, radio, television)

•The placement of the promotional piece (e.g., location in newspaper, time of day for radio spot, cable versus network television)

•The apparent target audience

•The ultimate objective (e.g., improve image, attract new business, increase sales volume)

Your paper should be at least 4 pages not including title page, reference page, figures and tables. 

Organization and development

The parts of the paper should include title page.  Include your name, course number and name, date and my name.  A running head is not required.

Font:  Times New Roman, 12.

Margins:  1 inch on top, bottom and sides. 

The introduction provides sufficient background on the topic and previews major points.

The conclusion is logical, flows, and reviews the major points.

Must include a reference page. Ensure you are properly citing and formatting the media in APA format.    

Mechanics

The in-text citations and reference page are consistent with APA Style 6th Edition.  Double-space lines.  Ensure your before and after spacing is set to zero and line spacing is double (this can be found by clicking on paragraph under the home ribbon, MS Word). 

Rules of grammar, usage, and punctuation are followed; spelling is correct.
