Health management and disease control is important in any industry. This is especially true when raising swine. What types of biosecurity protocols might you find if you were to visit a swine farm? Please list at least two examples. Do you think a strict biosecurity program is necessary or can it be ignored? Provide an explanation as to why you believe this. If you were working at a swine farm and were put in charge of caring for a litter of pigs, then what management practices would you perform from birth up to two weeks of age? Please provide at least three examples and explain why each practice is done. Lastly, provide two things you learned or found interesting during your tour of the OSU Swine Center.

Two things I learned was first time seeing pigs in real-life and I learned about the number of litter a pig produces.
