This assignment uses the information you have gathered for your weekly World View Chart Assignments.
Choose one (1) category (origin of all things, nature of god, view of human nature, view of good and evil,
etc.) from the chart to focus on for this assignment. Consider how the selected aspect relates to each of
the religions covered and to your own social or work experiences.
Write a two to three (2-3) page paper in which you:
1. Select one (1) category from the completed World View Chart. Provide a rationale for choosing
this category.
2. Describe the selected content and explain the significance of the selected category across the
religions studied.
3. Provide one (1) specific example of how the selected category is manifested in your social
environment.
4. Use at least three (3) quality resources as references for the assignment and document your
sources using APA Style for in-text citations and references. Note: Wikipedia and similar
Websites do not qualify as quality resources.
5. Write clearly and coherently using correct grammar, punctuation, spelling, and mechanics.

As the CFO of your corporation, you are in charge of preparing and analyzing financial statements that will be presented to potential investors and creditors. However, before you can present the financial statements to investors and creditors, you need to prepare the financial statements with supporting analysis. Select one (1) pair of the following companies to conduct your financial statement analysis.

• Pepsi versus Coca Cola, or
• Amazon versus eBay
• Target versus Walmart
• Nike versus Reebok

Write an eight to ten (8-10) page paper in which you:

1. Analyze each company’s history, product / services, major customers, major suppliers, and leadership, and provide a synopsis of each company.
2. Identify three (3) profitability ratios that creditors may be interested in. Calculate the ratio for each company, and prepare a report to summarize your findings on the financial health of each company. Also, recommend to management the manner in which they can improve each of the three (3) ratios identified.
3. Summarize at least two (2) news events (this may include mergers, acquisitions, or political issues) that occurred from 2012 to the present day, and analyze the impact that these events had on each company’s financial statements. Indicate the primary way in which the merger, acquisition or political issues influence potential investors’ and creditors’ perception of both companies.
4. Analyze each company’s income statement over the past two (2) years, and determine which company outperformed the other. Suggest a way in which the lagging company can improve its income. Support your suggestion with a specific analysis.
5. Analyze each company’s balance sheet. Prepare a vertical analysis for each company, interpret the results, and write a financial report. Also, suggest the manner in which the company that is not performing well can improve its balance sheet in order for it to be attractive to potential investors.
6. Use at least four (4) quality academic resources in this assignment. Note: Wikipedia and other Websites do not qualify as academic resources.

Total Quality Management Tools

There are different types of total quality management (TQM) tools that can be used in quality management. These tools are useful in analyzing data and determining the methods of improving the quality process for an organization. Tools are selected based on the business requirements and the functions of the tool. In this discussion, you will explore the uses of some common total quality management tools.

• TQM tools are costly to implement, and there are concerns on their effectiveness. Have you come across a scenario, from your company or any other organization with which you are familiar, where TQM tools failed to bring the results for which they were implemented? If yes, describe the reasons for the failures of the effectiveness of these tools. If no, think of scenarios in which implementing TQM tools would be ineffective. Support your rationale with examples.
