    Installation and Configuration

    • Provide detailed installation steps for each of the major components and protocols planned for the system.
    • Discuss configuration considerations for installation of these components and protocols.
    • Include configuration of the system for remote access.

    Week 2

    Network Design

    • Provide a description of the proposed network solution that includes coverage of these components: DNS, DHCP, Network Protocols, WINS, IP Routing, and Certificate Services.
    • Include diagrams that provide a visual representation of the network structure.

    Week 1

    The first step will be to select a scenario organization as the target for your network implementation plan. This scenario organization will be used as the basis for each of the assignments throughout the course, and should conform to the following guidelines:

  • Nontrivial: The selected organization should be large enough to allow reasonable exercise of the networking principles in the course assignments.
  • Domain knowledge: You should be familiar enough with the organization to allow focus on the assignment tasks without significant time required for domain education.
  • Accessibility: You should have good access to the people and other information related to the organization because this will be an important part of the process.

International teams can be difficult to coordinate. In order to successfully utilize international teams of employees, managers must consider variables that include everything from technical challenges, such as communication methods and time differences to complex issues such as communication style, language barriers, and cultural differences.

 

Imagine you work for a US-based firm and are partnering with a team of workers stationed in a progressive Middle Eastern country. The team’s purpose is to develop a modern marketing campaign for a financial services customer. Their goals include completing the campaign design on time, satisfying the customer, and integrating the expertise represented by employees in each country to deliver a quality product to the client. The team is on a strict deadline and reputations and bonuses are at stake.

In this country, there is very little separation between a workers religious beliefs, family, and work. Your team is on a strict deadline, and bonuses are at stake. The local employees take a midday break for two hours for prayers every day. Friday is a religious holiday, which begins at sundown on Thursday and continues through Friday. Saturday is considered a regular day off and they do work on Sunday. The project is due on Monday morning, and the other employees are resentful for having to work overtime.

The survey results of small groups of people are used to portray a general consensus about a population. Do you ever wonder how many people should be included in a survey to make it a meaningful reflection of a population? Now you will be able to answer your own question. After learning this, you might never feel the same about these polls and surveys again.

Using the following specific resources, create a lecture (with citations) that includes the following:

Using a newspaper article from the AIU library’s full-text database: Newsstand (ProQuest), create a lecture (with citations) that includes the following:
