If the ball rebounds at the same angle that it hits the ?oor but it does so with 20% less energy,…

Introduction – Describe the problem, including any relevant background information.

Analysis – Provide the derivation of the mathematical formulation of the problem. In the process of doing so, describe any assumptions you are making, indicate which variables you have chosen, and provide any known constant that you are using.

Solutions – Solve the mathematical formulation, showing each step.

Interpretation – Interpret the solution of the mathematical formulation in the context of the original problem. Make sure to include relevant units.

Discussion – Explore how the solution may change if certain parameters were altered, or if some of your assumptions were changed. Discuss how these may make the problem more difficult or even intractable to solve. Include some figures exploring these ideas.

References – Include any references you have used, such as sources for your known constants, or for interesting features of your problem

All the above-mentioned headings should be completed in the assignment of the following problems:

Problem 1. A ball rolls o? a table. How far away from the table does it bounce?

Problem 2. If the ball rebounds at the same angle that it hits the ?oor but it does so with 20% less energy, where does it bounce a second time.

Formalwear Spike is a small clothing manufacturer, specializing in creating custom, one-of-a-kind

formalwear. They exclusively sell their product through their online store.

Formalwear Spike is run by a team of three staff members: Abbey, Brutus, and Caesar.

Additionally, Abbey and Caesar share responsibility for managing the Formalwear Spike social media

presence, with Abbey working one extra hour in the evenings on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, and

Caesar doing the same on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

    Costs

Abbey and Brutus, as skilled manufacturing staff, cost $24 per hour to employ.

Caesar, a part-time employee, costs $32 per hour to employ.
