Are there any books specifically on manufacturing scheduling? I’m an intern as a materials planner, and we use SAP, however scheduling is very circumstantial and manipulative. From what I learned in school was not enough to handle the manipulative ways in which you have to schedule production. It is not black and white so to speak. Any resources to better understand the scheduling process would greatly help.
