Life Is Like A Box Of Chocolates

Life Is Like A Box Of Chocolates

Our textbook discusses sixteen different “Life is” interpretations for the meaning of life. It would be useful to review these before starting the assignment.

In no more than 750 words, you will be constructing your own Meaning of Life.

For this assignment, first fill in the blank with your own answer for “Life is ____,” and briefly explain what you mean by your answer. Then, answer the following questions:

What does your answer about what life is say about you and how you see yourself? (For example, if your answer is happy and light-hearted, then you probably see yourself that way as well. Or, it could be that your answer reflects how you wish life was and that it was different from your real life.)

How does your answer explain your ultimate life goals? Expectations? Hopes? Fears? Purpose? If it does not explain any of these things, why not?

Would your close friends and family members agree that answer truly describes your outlook on life? Why or why not?

Now that you have had some chance to really think about it, would you like to start this assignment all over again with a different answer for the “Life is” statement? If “yes,” what would the new answer be and why would you prefer it to your original answer? If “no,” explain why not? (Possible answers might include that you are too lazy to keep working on the assignment, that you are too arrogant to admit that you have changed your mind, that you are too dogmatic and rigid to even considering that your first answer was not the best answer, and so forth).

It is preferable to come up with your own answer about what “Life is” for you. However, if you are having a hard time coming up with an original answer, besides those mentioned in the book, some answers given by other students are listed below.

Life is a puzzle, except that you don’t know what the picture is supposed to look like, and you don’t even know if you’ve got all the pieces.

Life is a maze, except that you try to avoid the exit.

Life is a poker game. (It requires luck, but you can win with a high pair and you can lose with a flush.)

Life is win or lose. A few people win. Most are losers.

Life is an adventure.

Life is a b**tch, and then you die.

Life is a learning experience.

Life is a blessing.

Life is suffering.

Discuss how micro practice has come to dominate the social work profession.

Discuss how micro practice has come to dominate the social work profession.

The foundation of the social work profession is rooted in two levels of social assessment and reform. One is the individual, or micro, approach, which examines the needs of the individual living in poverty and explores how trained social work professionals could assist the individual in overcoming barriers to economic self-sufficiency. The other approach, which occurs simultaneously, is a macro, or larger environment, approach. This approach identifies and influences changes in the larger systems (education, economic, etc.) to improve self-sufficiency. The social work profession incorporates both approaches and trains professionals to intervene effectively at both levels of practice.

For this Discussion, review this week’s resources. Then, reflect on the dichotomy between micro and macro practice. Next, think about how micro practice has come to dominate the social work profession.

By Day 4

Postan explanation of “the dichotomy between micro and macro” practice. Then, describe how micro practice has come to dominate the social work profession.

By Day 6

Read a selection of your colleagues’ posts.

Respond to at least two colleagues by identifying three reasons that macro practice should not be dominated by micro practice if social work policy is to effectively deal with the problems of oppressed and marginalized groups.

Support your response with specific references to the resources. Be sure to provide full APA citations for your references.

This policy gets covered 100% through the Celein insurance company which is employee liability and the second coverage is 100 $ through Eliens insurance company for workmen’s compensation insurance policy. The reason behind was taking the coverage of workmen’s compensation through Eliens insurance company because of the country regulation that mentioned their rules, workmen’s compensation should be covered inside the country. However, tom construction company has covered from reinsurance by $ 87,121 instead of $ 123,215 as total premium that we get from the insured and the remaining amount is under workmen’s compensation line by $36,094. furthermore,The commission rate of the policy is 5.5 % . we find out ton system here is entry error on the retention rate of workmen’s compensation which is considered as zero retention and actually 100% owned by our company.

The facilitative part is the whole premium and it covered 100% of the risk. The commission amount is $ 5813 which is 6.5% from the premium of the reinsurance has to be retained from the reinsurance company.
