Process recording

Process recording

A process recording is a written tool field education experience students, field instructors, and faculty use to examine the dynamics of social work interactions in time. Process recordings can help in developing and refining interviewing and intervention skills. By conceptualizing and organizing ongoing activities with social work clients, you are able to clarify the purpose of interviews and interventions, identify personal and professional strengths and weaknesses, and improve self-awareness. The process recording is also a useful tool in exploring the interpersonal dynamics and values operating between you and the client system through an analysis of filtering the process used in recording a session. For this Assignment, you will submit a process recording of your field education experiences specific to this week. The Assignment (24 pages): Provide a transcript of what happened during your field education experience, including a dialogue of interaction with a client. Explain your interpretation of what occurred in the dialogue, including social work practice or theories, and explain how it might relate to assessment covered this week. Describe your reactions and/or any issues related to your interaction with a client during your field education experience. Explain how you applied social work practice skills when performing the activities during your process recording.

Treatment Plan Assignment Details:Each Treatment Plan Assignment will contain two main sections, which will all be included in a SINGLE document that will be attached and then submitted via Blackboard.SECTION 1. A brief summary of the case/individual you are writing aboutSECTION 2. The Actual Assessment. The assessment will be broken down into seven INDIVIDUAL sections:I. Demographic InformationII. Presenting ProblemIII. Relevant HistoryIV. SymptomsV. Case FormulationVI. DSM-IV Multiaxial Assessment (OR DSM-5 Equivalent)Axis I: __________Axis II: __________Axis III: _________Axis IV: _________G.A.F.: _________VII. Treatment PlanNOTE: The treatment plan addresses immediate actions that need to be taken, along with specific goals. Treatment goals reflect what we know about the disorder and the recommended therapy. These goals range form immediate to long-term. Treatment goals also reflect the particular needs and concerns of the individual (ex. safety/hospitalization). The following will ALWAYS need to be addressed in your treatment plan:1) How will the symptoms be managed?2) Problematic behavior, thinking, and emotions3) The stabilization of a client through medication (if needed),4) How alterations in personality and relationships will be addressedIf ANY of these issues are not addressed in the treatment plan, it is INCOMPLETE. These issues (however you present them) MUST be included.LENGTH OF ASSIGMENT: The treatment plans will be as long as they need to be. However, all sections/areas need to be addressed. To address all sections/areas, one has to include quite a bit of information. If you have never written any form of treatment plans like this before, let me first say that most mental health facilities use SOME type of template/format…however, each facility is DIFFERENT, and will have their OWN standard of what is expected to be included in such a treatment plan. In this course, you are learning a basic approach; some facilities prefer very short, concise treatment plans, whereas some prefer the clinician to put in as much detailed information as they like. Please keep this in mind.ALSO, for those first beginning to write these plans, this is a learning process. Each week in this course you will get better and better at writing these; be patient. At first you may have a lot of difficulty with these, but as you write a new one each week, your skills at composing such works will improve. Please strive to improve with each week, so that the assignment you submit for week 5 is a pristine work of accumulated knowledge of what you learned in here and from what you learned from the first four treatment plan assignments.

Answer the following Questions which correspond to the assigned readings listed above. Providing a paragraph for each answer: 1. Sanford (2008) in the Postlude admits that his model is both terrifying and depressing. What hope does he offer? 2. According to Chapter 12 of Johnson (1993) the protected status given to Darwinism can only squash true scientific inquiry. What reason does he give? 3. Chapter 11 of Kelly (1997) discusses the “dominion mandate” as integral to man’s identity as God’s image-bearer. Why do you suppose this is so unpopular in today’s culture? 4. According to the model presented by Vardiman (1994) how is it possible for warm oceans to drive a post-Flood Ice-Age? 5. What estimates does Vardiman (2008) provide for the total duration of the ice-age? 6. According to Austin (1998) volcanoes in the early post-Flood world were far more violent than today’s. Given the tectonic (earth) upheaval that accompanied the Biblical Flood, how is this data consistent? 7. Mendez (2000) supports the Biblical record of extremely long lifespans for the pre-flood patriarchs using what kind of evidence? 8. According to Bergman (2009b) explain the subtle racist implications in the “ape-to-human parade?”

Discuss The effects of drama-based instruction on English oral communication skills and motivation in learning English

The effects of drama-based instruction on English oral communication skills and motivation in learning English Planning, critiquing and evaluating an aspect of TEFL. Submit a proposal for a practical, small-scale investigation of a TEFL issue or issues raised by the module.You need to develop your project proposal:
Identifying key questions or issues you wish to investigate;
Finding ideas in the module material that will underpin the project;
Deciding which method or methods will best enable you to collect and analyse appropriate evidence;
Mapping out the practical detail and timescale for the project.Structure of the project proposalYour project proposal should address the following areas, which are discussed in detail:1. TitleThis should be a concise description of your proposed project such as in the examples above. It should convey how you intend to relate the content of the module to your own investigation. 2. The aims of the investigationYou will need to set out clearly what you wish to find out through your investigation.3. The rationale and main conceptual themes for the investigation You will need to discuss the significance of the project you are proposing and your reasons for choosing it. You should discuss these issues in both academic and practical terms, by considering such questions as:
Why have I chosen this topic to investigate?
Why is it important and significant topic to investigate?
What are the relevant ideas and issues in the module material?Identify the main conceptual strands and EFL theory which relate to your topic.4. A description of the evidence you intend to collectYou should give careful thought to the kinds of evidence that will best help you answer your research questions but which can feasibly be collected in the time available and in the settings to which you will have access, for example: observation notes
responses to interviews
responses to questionnaires
documents possibly including policy documents, research reports, TEFL texts or examples of students work.5. The methods you plan to use to collect your evidenceThis is not a module on research methodology, and you will not be expected to construct a sophisticated research design. However, you should be able to explain briefly why the methods you choose to use match the aims of your project and help to answer the research questions.6. A description of the settings in which you plan to collect your evidence.This section should be brief, but the information you provide here will enable your tutor to understand the context of your investigation.7. The ethical issues you need to considerYou should include some reflection on the issues raised in the BERA document and class discussion and indicate ways in which you will respect the privacy of individuals and the confidentiality of relating data to them.8. The methods you expect to use to analyse the evidence you collect. You should begin to consider the kinds of frameworks you might devise to categorise your evidence and the themes which you might adopt as organising principles for your analysis, albeit fairly hypothetical at this stage.9 The timetable for for the proposed projectIndicate when you are going to collect your data and do your analysis and how long you expect each stage of the project to take.Marking criteria Focus of the proposal (is the project appropriately focused given its small scale (20%)
The degree to which the research topic draws on theory presented in the module (10%)
The relationship between the aims of the project and the suggested research methodology ( including the type of evidence to be collected) (30%)
The degree to which the timetable for the project is realistic in relation to the study context. (10%)
